🦅 Happy School Resource Officers Day!
Today we proudly recognize and thank Lt. J. Wall for the dedication, protection, and care he shows our students, staff, and school every single day.
Woodrow Wilson High School is truly blessed to have him serving our Flying Eagle family and helping ensure a safe, positive learning environment for all.
Thank you, Lt. Wall, for your service to WWHS and our Beckley community! 💙

Two more days of some of the best robotics in the region and some of the best flying in the world. Come on out!
So hugely grateful for the professionals at WVUTECH. With a few phone calls, we had nearly every wrinkle ironed out. Huge shout out to Dr Stuart,
and Corey Acord for their support— most of the others don’t have Facebook. And then there is the support team we “hire” from Fairmont State who are doing an amazing job too. Mrs Worley sent us NHS students who learned a lot! And then, there are the parents, from texts to food to sharing their children with this program to those special touches that make everyone feel welcomed to the university and Beckley.

Need weekend plans? The Coalfield Conference is happening at WVU TECH! Everything is free and open to the public!
🤖 Saturday: Robotics Competition (8 AM – 4 PM)
🚁 Sunday: Drone Competition (8 AM – 4 PM)
🎬 Saturday at 6 PM, the team, partnered with the The Raleigh Playhouse and Theatre, is hosting a showing of WALL-E (first come, fist serve seating)!
Come out, support these talented students, and make a day (or weekend) of it. It’s smart, it’s fun, and it’s worth checking out!
Softball Schedule

Good morning Flying Eagle parents and students! It was great to have a normal week with all of you! Please give this message some attention if you have a student driver or participate in parent pickup/drop-off. Please refrain from passing or going around temporarily parked vehicles on property. As you know, we have a lot of traffic in the morning. Naturally, there is more opportunity for congestion/incidents. Please be as mindful. Reminder: ALL parent drop off is to occur behind the cafeteria/ E wing. In addition, please know that arriving between 6:50 and 7:05 is most often met with a much less congested drop-off in the AM. Arriving a couple minutes earlier typically saves folks a lot of time. As our new construction progresses at Woodrow over the course of the next 18 to 24 months, you will see that we have put some extensive thought into traffic flow at the beginning and end of our day. Until then, thank you greatly for your mindfulness and caution as we work to get all 1300 to 1st pd safely and efficiently. Have a great weekend!🦅
