Good evening, this is Rachel Sexton, Principal of WWHS. I’m calling to welcome our students back and to share a few important reminders as we begin the new school year.
Students, we are excited to have you back, and we want everyone to have a strong and successful start. As you arrive at school, please remember that all students will go through the weapons detection system upon entry, so be prepared and allow yourself enough time to get to class.
Also, hats and hoods are not permitted inside the building, and cell phones should be put away during the school day. We’re asking everyone to come ready to learn and ready to follow our school expectations from day one.
Let’s start this year off right with respect, responsibility, and a commitment to making WWHS a place where everyone can be successful.

Please plan ahead traffic will be congested the first week possibly two weeks of school.
Afternoon parent pick up is located in the Wetland parking lot. Students will exit Lower D down the sidewalk to the parking area. Please exit via Woodcrest Drive to avoid bus & student driver traffic.
Parent Drop Off Information:
Parents please enter via the By- Pass road by ACT, drive behind the gym, around E building and stop between E building and the Cafeteria. There will be a staff member standing at the location for drop off. Students may be dropped off starting at 6:50am. Please plan ahead as traffic is congested the first few days of school.
